The tray is great, wide

"The tray is great, wide and slides well. However, if your desk has drawers, there may be an alignment issue that needs a spacer on the screws to lift the keyboard tray mount over the supports of the drawers. The screw holes align, but the screws are not long enough if you have a 30" x 60" desk with the added Vari drawers. I had to go to the hardware store to improvise. It would be great if Vari sent the spacers with the keyboard. Otherwise, good quality product. On a smaller desk you'll have to pick your accessories: keyboard drawer or desk drawer."

It’s OK! Not great, not

"It’s OK! Not great, not terrible, just OK. The keyboard tray wiggles a bit even once it is installed, and the way the tray is designed makes it so that it can be difficult to install, as there’s not an unobstructed way to get a drill in there to put some of the screws in. Overall, I’m happy with Vari as a company, and their products do have a great warranty. But the keyboard tray could use just a few tweaks. It could also stand to be just a little bit wider. Alternatively, a swivel to bring the keyboard tray surface up so that it’s level with the desk surface could be a nice touch, as installing this makes it so that you have to tweak some memory settings if you’re using it with a Vari Sit/Stand Desk, since the bottom of the keyboard tray will hit your knees or require that you sit a little bit differently."

It’s ok. Sturdy and well

"It’s ok. Sturdy and well built but not ergonomic. Doesn’t fit a mousepad next to the keyboard and is too close to the underside of the desk to fit your hands. m without pulling it out which pushes me another foot away from my screens. The mouse either goes on top of the desk or on the tiny area next to the keyboard on the tray. I pay a premium for an ergonomic setup with Vari so this really missed the mark"

"It works fine, but when it's pushed in, my knuckles hit the top of the desk. I really, really wish I had the option to use it both open and closed. I would get a different one if it were compatible with my desk."

Great addition with some flaws.

"Great build quality. Tray smoothy glides in and out of the frame, but my gripe with it is, the tray does not lock in place when extended out so it has a bit of play when I try to use it. Also, the tray has a convex shape which could be annoying to someone who wants to fit a large mousepad to cover the whole tray with its odd shape."
