"This drawer has just enough space to put my pencils and other smaller items that I don't want on the top of my desk all the time. It could be deeper sometimes if I grab the under part of my desk, if I need to pull a little closer to it in my chair, I grabbed the drawer and it pulls out and that's not what I want so I have to remember to grab a little bit more to the side otherwise everyone needs a drawer"

"The desk drawer is a nice added touch. It allows the desk to stay clutter free, has a section just for pens/pencils to prevent them from rolling around when opening/closing the drawer. The inside is felt lined which not only protects the bottom of the drawer and items placed in it from scratches, it acts as a sound barrier as well. The drawer opens and closes nicely, it does require a little bit of effort to initially open/close but the intent is to prevent the drawer from opening on it own. I highly recommend you add this drawer to your purchase!"

"Important addition to my desk. High quality. The drawer is about 19"x 9"x 1. 5. Regarding the 9" depth of the drawer, I would suggest making it about 3" bigger. This would allow an 8 1/2" x 11 pad of paper to fit. I also see why you couldn't do it due to the frame. Possibly the 19" could be made bigger to allow more room."
