Buy New - Skip the Open Box
"I would not recommend the open box. I received two different desktops that had significant damage to the sides (smashed in) and top (hole in laminate). Support team was great, but there was clearly no quality assurance done prior to receiving each shipment. Additionally, the first desktop received was an older model that did not fit the newer control or keypad.
We ended up returning all equipment for a refund (which normally wouldn’t be available for open box).
We own a “New” Varidesk and love it. It arrived in a severely damaged box but the desk was fine.
I bumped it up to two stars for the support team, and their understanding."
