3 of the 4 I purchased were done in by static
"Was using these and loved them, until winter hit and the carpet static started. Touched the switch and got a shock and the settings that the lamps were on were basically wiped out, like the on/off switch ( have to plug it in/ unplug it to turn it off and one, or the brightness and light tone levels that they were on are gone now."

Love this lamp! I have
"Love this lamp! I have a large desk space and struggled finding a lamp to work with my standing desk. I am on video all day for work and the lighting in my office is not great. Many lamps that I have tried gave me headaches or irritated my eyes. This lamp is amazing! Adjustable in very way. At first I thought it was a little big but fell in love with it after a day."

The Base should be heavier
"A lot of thought went into the design which is why I think it is strange that
1) the base is not heavy enough and moves when you adjust the arms. . you have to hold the base down when adjusting the arms
and
2) the power supply has to go on the end of a power strip or else it will take 3 spots on the strip (plug into 1 and it blocks 2 other spots)
I never write product reviews but for a $100+ LAMP these issues are glaring ;)
Other than those 2 things, I do really like the lamp. It looks great on my Vari Desk, the range and versatility you get from all the pivot points is incredible, the color temps are wonderful options to have (1 or 2 more if possible would be nice - I am low vision and this is really important for me)
If they redesign and release a MkII version I would consider buying it.

"This lamp is an excellent product. The disc emits a nice well integrated white light with a touch control that sets it to one of six different color temperatures. The knob serves as an on/off switch and a dimmer. The light is very bright and the stand mechanism is very flexible and solid to enable the disk to be set in virtually any position including backwards for use as a key light for video conferencing."
