  • Butcher Block The honeyed tone and microscale of the finish make this a popular choice. Butcher Block works beautifully in home offices or casual workspaces. In the office, we’ve used it for both conference rooms and collaborative benching where we like to encourage relaxed, relational warmth.
  • White This color instantly opens up the workspace, inspiring creativity and giving any area a clean, crisp look. It’s great for those who like to keep their space tidy and minimal. An occasional wipe down may be required, especially if you’re a coffee-ring artist! At Vari, our creative teams love the blank-canvas look of this finish, and we all like how it makes areas with a higher density of employees feel larger.
  • Reclaimed Wood The large scale of the wood print creates a rustic feel, and the multiple colors add interest. We especially love the way Reclaimed Wood pairs with cool greys – which is why we feel it works so well in spaces with an industrial aesthetic. At our headquarters, it warms up plenty of conference rooms and break areas.
  • Walnut A smooth-textured, straight-lined wood grain finish with a consistent pattern. The color is versatile enough for any modern office décor, but fits especially well in a space that features mid-century inspired furniture
  • Light Wood When you want the Scandinavian modern look or want to create some spa-like serenity in your space, Light Wood is the perfect choice. The warm, organic feel of a wood-inspired finish with the crisp, clean look that a modern or minimal workspace requires. Many of the workspaces on our showroom tours now feature this finish because it’s so chic and photogenic.
  • Black Serious and straight-forward, this color is a true classic. It’s perfect for a streamlined look, especially if your accessories are black, too. In the Vari Headquarters, we’ve used this finish in our executive suites and in cozy areas for computer-focused work.
  • Darkwood This most classic of the wood grain finishes makes itself at home in traditional, mid-century, or modern spaces. It’s warmth and striking grain pattern give it a subtle and versatile elegance that sets it apart. Here at Vari, we’re partial to the Darkwood finish in managerial offices.

Can’t decide on just one? We suggest using a different finish for each team. For an open-concept office, try delineating spaces by changing the finish. For example, you can use Light Wood for your employees’ desks and Reclaimed Wood for the breakroom – it’ll create a subtle psychological difference while keeping things streamlined.
